Often times in todays society we find ourselves judging the youth of now and not thinking twice about it. Have you ever stopped to think about what that youth may be going through and thought that maybe you could help that youth? If you have then this is the place for you. I am a parent counselor with a company called Venture Academy and my job is to help troubled teens. The youth come to live with me and my family while going through the treatment program at Venture Academy. Venture Academy offers a diverse variety of activities, assessments, help with school issues, family issues and drug abuse. I love having the youth in my home and having the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many. The youth of today are the adults of tomorrow. I hope to be able to help them be whole and complete individuals that can live successful lives without regret. I am able to do this thanks to Venture Academy. The team that we have is awesome and as parent counselors we have a great network of support and help. I have been doing this for about four years now and don't plan on changing that. What I do and who I do it for makes all the difference in the world to me.
